1. Who we are
D4 Networks L.L.C. ("D4 Networks", "we") is a hosting infrastructure provider located in North Kansas City, Missouri, USA. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, client area, and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, company name, and billing address when you open an account or order a service.
- Billing records. Invoices, payments, and transaction history.
- Service and technical data. Service configuration, IP addresses, connection timestamps, and request metadata generated by normal operation of the network, used for operations, billing, and security.
- Support communications. Tickets, emails, and chat messages you send us.
We do not access data stored on your servers except where needed to deliver support you request, to investigate abuse or a security incident, or to comply with a legal requirement.
3. How we use information
To provide and bill the services, respond to support requests, secure the network (including DDoS mitigation and abuse prevention), improve our services, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
4. Cookies
The website and client area use cookies that are necessary for login sessions and security. We do not run analytics, advertising networks, or cross-site tracking.
5. Payment processing
Payments are handled by payment processors under their own security programs. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
6. When we share information
- With service providers who help us operate (payment processing, email delivery), under contract and only as needed.
- When required by law, such as a court order or other valid legal process.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of D4 Networks, our customers, or the network, including investigating abuse.
- As part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition, with notice to you.
7. Data residency
Your services run in the region you deploy them: New York, Dallas, or Amsterdam. Workloads that need EU data residency can run in Amsterdam and stay there. Account and billing information is processed in the United States.
8. Retention
We keep account and billing records while your account is active and afterwards as required for tax and legal purposes. Service data is deleted on the timelines described in the terms of service after a service ends. Operational logs are kept on a short rotation appropriate to security and troubleshooting.
9. Security
We protect personal information with access controls, encryption in transit, and staff access limited to what a task requires. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information in line with industry practice.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and you can object to or ask us to restrict certain processing. If you are in the EU or EEA, these rights are provided under the GDPR and you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have equivalent rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to deletion; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using section 13.
11. Children
Our services and website are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
